Choice of the Vampire App Reviews

One of my favorite "Choice of Games" title. A lot of possibilities. I played at least 10 times the whole story, never bored.

Best of any text-based adventure game I played!

If youre out for some vampire story playing in the ruthless scenario of the american civil war, you should buy it. I dont regret any cent Ive spent for this!

Ive played through the game twice now and Ive got to say that this choice of game is longer, deeper and more varied than any that have come before. Its a choose your own adventure on steroids.

These games are an inovative new direction within this industry, but if I could give them one word of advice it would be not to charge people for the second chapter as that would cause you to lose popularity. Bon chance. Nathaniel S.

The scenes are okay but they dont follow eachother all the time, meaning poor rhythm and lacking story fluidity. DIALOGUE IS AWEFUL TO FOLLOW. I had to read characters exchange multiple time to understand. Hey! Maybe it was me right? Although all the other story based games were easy going and I didnt have to fight so hard to stick to the story... Historicly rich and detailed.. Not that I care if any of this is even true, but well presented.. Kudo!! As for the actual FUN in the game... It took me a little while and multiple try to get into the story... I was at first bored by the story but got around eventually to give myself the full experience from the game, and it worked. Not perfect, but damn close. Great game!!!

These games are fun, and well designed. The trouble with this one is that its incomplete: it just ends with the news that theres another installment on the way. The Episode 2 mentioned above is a whole new game, for which (presumably) you will have to pay a whole new price. Its infuriating (if youre as cheap as I am) to discover that you paid for half (or a smaller fraction) of a game - and that theres no ending to the story the game tells.

Played Dragon, Broadsides, Romance to death. I couldnt believe they were all free. I was glad to pay for this one. I consider 2,99$ for exceptionally written stories very well worth the price. The replay value is excellent. Cannot wait for another!

Please remember to come out with the new installment soon! Pleeeease, dont give up! P.s. Ill give five stars if you come out with part two.

I bought this 3 years ago at the very least... Chapter 2 never came out and it was not said this was a fragmented story. Rip off, really. :(

AFTER THREE YEARS IM STILL WAITIN FOR A SEQEUL TO THIS!!!

Much to my surprise, this game and its sequel, Fall of Memphis, are not only good games, but good stories. As I go through it I find myself becoming emotionally invested in it, carefully making note of those who I owe a grudge, and cultivation useful allies and malleable tools. I cant wait for the next instalment.

Its a pretty decent story and Id say its worth the money, it has me intrigued enough to want to buy the second part.

This story has a beautiful style of writing that creates a romantic and melancholic atmosphere. Of all the Choice of Game titles, I think this game is one of the best at giving you very nuanced choices. You can create a morally complex character with an interesting background and many facets to their personality. I dont think the choices change the overall structure of the story too much, but they create a deep and satisfying role-playing experience. On the downside, the stats system seems underdeveloped. There were many stats, and its not clear what half of them do (streetwise, technology, lore, etc.) Most of them never seemed to be of any use in the story. Second, it is not clear from the app description that this is supposed to be the first game in a trilogy. It ends quite abruptly, and I wouldve appreciated some warning beforehand.

As a fan of both rpg and adventure games, i loved this game. Its not everyones cup of tea because it requires a lot of reading, but the story is great and well written. The downside is that it was short. There are a lot of options so replayability is very high but still i would have prefered a longer story (which as I understand is on its way). Im looking forward to the next installment.

The game is creative and engaging, but there is a single story line to follow with not much variety and little opportunity to focus on a particular aspect. Also, the game doesnt end, yet new chapters do not arrive.

Very interesting plot, hard to leave iPod, to do sth else besides playing this awesome game:)

Definitly, if you are into vampires and rpg, you should try that one. It has a number of different paths you can take. The overall mood is great, as well as is writing.
